Animal Rehabilitation

Jack and Rose after their rehabilitation.

Jack and Rose suffered luxating patellas.
Here they are after rehabilitation.

Bec is recently back from spending time with Animal Physiotherapists in England, and sitting her exams. Combining this with her Australian Canine Myofuncational Therapy experience, she is looking forward to opening the first animal rehabilitation centre on the Northern Beaches.

Her experiences with Animal Physiotherapists in England incorporated many practices including massage techniques, muscle release techniques, balance and strength exercises, phototherapy to assist wound repair and aid relaxation, electrostimulation to support muscle growth, electromagnetic field therapy for optimum body repair, ultrasound for scar tissue, hydrotherapy and underwater treadmill for low impact fitness.

A complete history is received from the owners and the referring veterinarian before the applicable treatment strategy is put into place.

Treatment is available for orthopaedic conditions and surgery (including knees, hips, elbows, shoulders), spinal conditions, wound repair, arthritis and more.
